About Pam

Pamela Welch, M.A., C.C.Ht. is a heart-felt psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, and intuitive counseling astrologer who has over twenty years experience in the counseling field. She completed two years of her undergraduate studies at Bowling Green State University in 1970 and after going back to finish her education later in life received a BA and Master's Degree in Theoretical Psychology from Boulder College (formerly the Colorado Institute of Transpersonal Psychology) in 1987. Her book, The Energy Body Connection: The Healing Experience of Self-Embodiment, published in 2000, is also available in a Spanish translation edition, Cuerpo, Mente y Espiritu.

Pamela received training in Ericksonian Hypnosis and NLP with Richard Shane through the Integral Hypnotherapy Institute of Boulder in 1986 and obtained additional training in Alchemical Hypnotherapy in 1991. She is certified as a Counseling Clinical Hypnotherapist through the Colorado School of Counseling Hypnotherapy and has advanced certification in Cellular Release Therapy™, a specialized form of hypnotherapy developed and taught by Anne DeChenne Drucker.

Pamela is also certified as a Gestalt Therapist through the Gestalt Institute of the Rockies (1987) and was trained as a Loving Presence Leader by Ron Kurtz in 1996. She has additional education in several body-mind healing modalities and her articles have appeared in such publications as Enlightened Woman Magazine and The Mountain Astrologer.

Pamela has been a student of astrology for over thirty years and consulting professionally for more than twenty. She is a member of the National Council for Geocosmic Research and has been guest lecturer at several of their local chapter events. Her interest in spiritual development started over thirty-five years ago when she began an in-depth program of study in the ancient mystery teachings. She has been guiding others in the process of healing and spiritual growth since that time and has the ability to present both modern psychological principles and the timeless mystery teachings in a clear and understandable way.

Pamela is also a member of the Colorado Association of Psychotherapists, the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association and the  American Psychotherapy Association. Her intuitive gifts and ability to create a safe and sacred space provide for a deeply healing experience. She currently lives and enjoys a successful counseling practice in Denver, Colorado.
